Privacy Policy

Effective date: November 5, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Canada Birth Certificates (“we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information when you use our private document-preparation helper.

1. Information you enter

The form flow includes personal information such as names, dates and places of birth, parents’ names and birthplaces, addresses, contact details, and a confirmation signature image. Your answers are stored in your own browser so the form can be completed and the PDF can be generated on your device. We do not keep a copy of your answers or your completed PDF on our servers.

Review your device security and clear saved site data when you no longer need your draft.

2. Information we receive and why

  • Payment verification: after checkout we receive a payment identifier and ask our payment provider, Whop, whether the payment succeeded. We do not receive your full card number.
  • Service operation: our hosting provider processes technical information needed to serve pages, prevent abuse, and troubleshoot errors.
  • Analytics: we send limited product events (such as page, step, and completion status) to PostHog, along with standard technical and advertising-click context. PostHog is configured without cookies, IP capture, person profiles, autocapture, or session recording. We never send your form answers, names, dates of birth, addresses, contact details, or signatures in these events.
  • Advertising measurement: if you arrive from a Google ad, Google may receive a conversion signal (with the order reference and price) when you start or complete a purchase.

3. Service providers and disclosures

We use service providers to host the site, process payments, and measure performance. They process information under their own terms and privacy policies. We may disclose information when required by law or to protect the site and its users.

We do not sell your information, and we do not submit your application to any government office.

4. Retention and security

Draft answers stay in your browser until you clear them. Payment and support records are kept by our payment provider as needed for reconciliation, customer service, legal obligations, and dispute handling. We use reasonable safeguards, but no internet transmission or storage is completely secure.

5. Your choices and requests

You can clear your browser storage at any time. For questions about a purchase, use the support option attached to your purchase in Whop. Do not send completed forms or ID documents through ordinary support messages.

6. Updates

We may update this Policy when our practices or the law change. The effective date above identifies the current version.
