Terms of Service
Effective date: November 5, 2026
These Terms govern your use of Canada Birth Certificates (“we,” “us,” or “our”), a private document-preparation helper. By using the site or purchasing the service, you agree to these Terms.
1. Private service; no government affiliation
Canada Birth Certificates is a private business. We are not the Government of Canada, the Government of Alberta, Alberta Vital Statistics, or a registry agent, and we are not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or authorized by them.
The service helps you enter information into an official government form and produces a downloadable PDF for you to review, print, sign, and submit yourself. We do not submit applications, order or issue birth certificates, determine eligibility, or guarantee approval or processing times. Government and registry fees are separate and are paid by you at the registry.
2. What you purchase
You purchase a one-time private form-preparation service at the price displayed before payment. The payment is our service fee and is not a government fee. There is no subscription unless the checkout page expressly says otherwise.
The service is based on the information you provide. You are responsible for reviewing every field and the generated PDF before signing or submitting it, and for providing any identification or supporting documents the government requires.
3. Your responsibilities
- Provide truthful, complete, and current information.
- Only apply for a birth document you are eligible to request. If you apply on behalf of another person, you confirm that you have the necessary authority.
- Keep your browser and device secure and download or print your completed PDF promptly.
- Follow the government instructions and submit the application through the required official process.
We do not provide legal or government-advice services. Contact Alberta Vital Statistics or a qualified professional if you are unsure what the form requires.
4. Payment, delivery, and refunds
Payment is processed by a third-party payment provider shown at checkout. After payment is verified, the completed PDF is made available through the site. Card details are handled by the payment provider and are never entered into our form flow.
Because this digital service is delivered immediately after checkout, payments are generally non-refundable once the service has been delivered. This does not limit any right that cannot lawfully be excluded. If you were charged in error or could not access your form, use the support option attached to your Whop purchase so we can help.
5. Intellectual property and acceptable use
We own or license the site’s software, branding, and original content. You may use your completed PDF for your own application. Do not resell, republish, reverse engineer, interfere with the site, or use it to submit information you are not authorized to submit.
6. Disclaimers and limits
The service is provided “as available.” We do not promise that a government form, website, office, eligibility rule, or fee will remain unchanged, that the generated PDF will be accepted, or that a document will be issued by a particular date.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for government or registry decisions, delays, fees, inaccurate information you supplied, interruptions outside our reasonable control, or your failure to review and submit the form. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.
7. Changes and support
We may update these Terms when the service or law changes. The effective date above shows the current version.
For help with a purchase, sign in to Whop with the email you used at checkout, open your purchase, and use its support option. Do not send completed forms or ID documents through ordinary support messages.
